The above quote is attributed to the French military leader (and eventual Emperor) referenced in the above meme. Based on his career and the impact it had on millions of lives, I’d say he was right; but in some ways, his use of imagination to rule the world wound up creating a disaster which involved war, revolution and plenty of bloodshed. This is not the ideal result one wishes to reach when using one’s imagination to change the world, let alone rule it.
But let’s take a closer look at this quote and what it might mean for us…
When you hear the word “imagination” most people think of someone’s capacity for creative thinking, being clever; but there’s also a negative connotation associated with being flighty, not in touch with the so-called “real" world. A word that can be used against someone who doesn’t quite fit the mold everyone else seems to fit so well in; someone who thinks/feels in a different way than most.
According to mystic philosopher Neville Goddard (one of my personal inspirations), the Imagination IS God/Source/Universal Mind within you, providing you with the power to create your reality. This is simply because when you look around at our world, there’s nothing in it that first wasn’t imagined before it became a reality. With that, there’s a huge implication that if this is really God within us, and if with God “all things are possible”, then anything is possible to everyone in this world. And this is the power God implanted within us to either create or destroy, a power we were given free will on how to use it. If you’re not at all familiar with his work, check out what I think is his best lecture ever, one that encapsulates his message and offers suggestions on how to use it.
We’ve used our imaginations to create everything in this world, from sliced bread to rockets that go to the Moon (or did they? haha. Maybe that’s for another time…) Even nations are built on imagination. It’s all one piece of land with imaginative borders, peoples, etc.
What I mean to say in all this is a lot of what makes up our “reality” is first imagined into existence. Sure, people will make a claim and then they’ll try and back it up with “facts” or “science” or “evidence”. When in most cases, facts, science and evidence can be bought off and/or tampered with. The people who run/manipulate this world and our perception of it know this and they’re doing a great job of brainwashing the majority of us into believing their narratives without having to back them up, just as long as there’s an “expert” to affirm their claim is valid.
We are “imagining” things constantly, usually in worst-case scenarios. People are even imagining we are in the “last days” to fulfill a prophecy in Revelations, and by God, we’re going to do our damnedest to make sure we’re on track with that by staging all these wars going on in the world right now, the “plagues” visited upon us, etc.
When it comes to our everyday lives, we think, “Oh, what if I don’t get the job?” or “Oh, this is not going to work out…” or “Just my luck!” You know, stuff like that. This is all using our imaginative power AGAINST OURSELVES! But don’t take my word for it; check out this quote from New Thought pioneer Florence Scovel Shinn:
In short, we’re either blessing ourselves or cursing ourselves with the way we talk to and about ourselves.
So, it’s our choice, our free will, in what to do with this awesome power bestowed on us by our Creator. It IS our connection to the Creator because the only way for the Creator to manifest things into this world is through Humanity. WE are the ones through which this power is filtered; a kind of invisible spiritual electrical power from the Universal Mind, whose immensely intense vibrations are stepped down through the stars, galaxies, planets and down to us and into our minds, nerves…our very Life Force.
Anything that’s ever happened in our world and what’s going on right now was first a thought in someone’s imagination; all the items we use on a daily basis. Even we are products of our parent’s imagination. We were thought into existence in this world! And of course, ultimately, Humanity was thought into existence by the Universal Mind along with the rest of the world, the universe and Everything.
We can use this power to imagine best-case scenarios in our lives. For example, instead of saying “What if this doesn’t work out for me?” How about imagining, “What if this works out for me?” But the trick is how to use this force; and it’s by seeing the outcome of the situation, the end result and feeling what that feels like to be in that situation. As Neville would say, “Assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled.” Already I can sense many of you bristling at the thought, thinking I’ve lost my marbles. But I’m telling you from my own personal experience IT WORKS!!! I’ve gotten many things/results with this method.
Oh gosh, where do I start? Ok, in no particular order, things like CDs of my most favorite obscure soundtracks, a deck of rare esoteric tarot cards that was out of print FOR TEN YEARS!, interactions with people where I thought it would go bad would turn out well. I “imagined” hearing a friend saying he found a house to rent when all seemed hopeless for him (when he finally called me after about a couple of weeks, I just laughed, and he said, “You did something, didn’t you?” And I told him - then we were both laughing!) and the day job I currently have which has proven to be the best job I’ve ever had in my entire career insofar as day jobs go. And most especially meeting and marrying my Wife (at a time when I didn’t even know I was using this power!) whom I’ve been grateful to be married to for the past 36 years!
So how do you begin to use this power for your own good? My question to you is, can you believe in it? Can you believe this is a power within you that you haven’t discovered yet and can be leveraged to change the course of your life? If you don’t believe it, then it just won’t work for you. Why? Because the Universal Mind wants to make you happy, that’s all it wants; and if it makes you “happy” to disbelieve in this power, to scoff at it, the Universal Mind says, “Ok, disbeliever. In order to keep you happy, you’ll keep experiencing things to justify your disbelief.”
In view of this, it’s crucially important that we take this power back from the enemedia, politricksters, motherWEFers, public (un)officials that we’ve unwittingly given it away to. For starts, check out my poem
ImagiNation: the only Nation
The only nation I am a citizen of is the ImagiNation. Sorry, no offense. You can have all your other (stag)nations. Oh say, can you see, the only nations they’re forcing us to live in are: vaccination condemnation indoctrination alienation and ultimately extermination? Because all these nations are subject matter experts in: procrastination inc…
wherein you’ll get the gist of how you can use this incredible divine power for yourself, to improve your life and who knows, perhaps even the world. TBH, I’m working on some pretty huge demonstrations (because I believe in this Power) and the more of us who can imagine more or less the same desires/outcomes (like a MasterMind or SuperMind) there’s no telling what kind of effects we can have in this world. And the cool thing about all this is we don’t have to worry about the How It’s Going to Happens because that’s the Universal Mind’s department, the Greater Mind in which we all live, move and have our being in to work out the solution down to the finest detail.
One of the easiest ways to get started is to imagine someone congratulating you for something: a new job, a salary raise, a new car, relationship, whatever. As you go to sleep at night, imagine you hear the voice of a friend or family member saying “congratulations!” and let yourself drift off to sleep. Eventually, that person will be congratulating you for the thing you desired, and you’ll suddenly remember this nightly practice and it’s fruition in this world. When someone congratulates you, it means you’ve already acquired and/or achieved your particular desire. Using this method, you don’t have to worry about how it’s going to happen (this is the test of your faith in God/Source/Universal Mind) and it’s one of the easiest methods to dip your toe in the Manifestation ocean.
But again, and I can’t stress this enough…YOU’VE GOT TO BELIEVE in this power of yours, this creative seed which God planted in you to bloom into a magical life.
Some of you may have a different method that works for you; if so, that’s great. Don’t mess with success. But if you’re new to this, or even a hard-bitten cynic, why don’t you give it a go? You have nothing to lose. Once you get a taste of success, you’ll move on to other things, bigger things, even imagining successful outcomes for others
… like I’m imagining right now for You.
You have a nice way of explaining it.. as you know this is my favorite topic.. I think of the word
IMAGINE as an anagram for IMAGE IN...
First we have a desire, and we build an Image in our own powerful minds of what we would like to see and experience. AS we create this image in our own minds, and we feel this image to be our truth, we start to see opportunity, and doors open, and things happen in our lives that bring this creative vision in our mind's eye into our very reality. (It can work towards things we do not like as well, if we focus on negative things, we may just end up experiencing things we do not want)
I have so many incredible stories to tell on how I focused on something within and It came to be in my life.
I love to say THOUGHT MATTERS... thought is important for sure, Our thoughts are what create our life experiences... but THOUGHT literally is the what creates the material world!
Love this article,I agree we are more powerful than we can even imagine. I have not heard of Neville Goddard , so will listen to his lecture. Thank you 🙏🏻 Like you I believe words do and are changing the world.
